چکیده

Enhancing nutrient use efficiencies (NUEs) is an important factor in achieving the long-term sustainability of a production system. Our two-year experiment was aimed at accessing NUEs integration macro- and micronutrient fertilization responses three lentil (Lens culinaris) cultivars. Three cultivars were planted main plots, ten combinations used sub-plots: N1, control; N2, 100% recommended dose fertilizers (RDF) (20:40—N:P2O5); N3, vermicompost (VC) 2 t ha?1; N4, 50% nitrogen (RDN) + phosphorus (RDP) VC 1 N5, RDF 0.5% ZnSO4; N6, FeSO4; N7, ZnSO4 N8, RDN RDP ha?1 N9, N10, FeSO4. The results show that cultivar HM-1 (1.59–1.61 Mg ha?1) recorded significantly higher seed yield than Sapna (1.31–1.33 Garima (both 1.30 ha?1), while had more stover (1.86–1.90 (1.68–1.73 ha?1). Cultivar efficient terms partial productivity for N (77.5–78.5 kg kg?1), P (48.2–48.7 K (143.6–145.5 Zn (1336–1352 Fe (417–421 kg?1) Garima. Application 1.0 FeSO4 resulted (1.63–1.65 agronomic efficiency (26.3–28.8 (12.42–13.63 (52.3–57.4 over other tested practices both years. Hence, it could be concluded considering integrated management paradigm including 10 coupled with 40 P2O5 through synthetic fertilizers, vermicomposting as organic source foliar spray each (N10) produced 56.8% control, addition to improving dynamics N, P, K, Zn, Fe. Therefore, selection help achieve food nutritional targeted by Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Enhanced plant nutrient use efficiency with PGPR and AMF in an integrated nutrient management system.

A 3 year field study was conducted with field corn from 2005 to 2007 to test the hypothesis that microbial inoculants that increase plant growth and yield can enhance nutrient uptake, and thereby remove more nutrients, especially N, P, and K from the field as part of an integrated nutrient management system. The field trial evaluated microbial inoculants, which include a commercially available ...

Maize productivity and nutrient use efficiency in Western Kenya as affected by soil type and crop management

Low soil fertility and high weed infestation are the main culprits for the declining maize production inWestern Kenya. Technology packages to address these constraints exist, but their effectiveness is likely to be influenced by variability in soil types and farm management practices in the region. Trials were conducted during the 2008/2009 cropping seasons to investigate the nutrient use e...

Lens culinaris Medik. seed proteome: analysis to identify landrace markers.

Unlike modern cultivars selected for their growth performances in specific environmental conditions, local landraces have a high genetic variability that is an important resource for plant breeding. Consequent to their high adaptation to different environmental conditions, these landraces may have evolved adaptive gene complexes To promote the survival of endangered lentil landraces, we previou...

Nutrient Use Efficiency in Plants

Invariably, many agricultural soils of the world are deficient in one or more of the essential nutrients needed to support healthy plants. Acidity, alkalinity, salinity, anthropogenic processes, nature of farming, and erosion can lead to soil degradation. Additions of fertilizers and/or amendments are essential for a proper nutrient supply and maximum yields. Estimates of overall efficiency of ...
